The N-CLOUD project focuses on providing a robust platform for CCTV management. Key functionalities include setting up servers and cameras, connecting users, configuring recording and file export settings, and detecting and logging object activities. The development process, spanning 8 months, involves a small team of four members using C++, Python, and QT to build a user-friendly and efficient system.
The customer is a South Korean enterprise with a requirement for advanced CCTV management software to enhance security and surveillance capabilities. The system aims to provide a reliable solution for monitoring and managing activities through network-connected cameras.
MOR Software encountered challenges in ensuring seamless integration with a variety of camera models, optimizing real-time video processing, and maintaining data security. The system also needed to be scalable to accommodate future expansions and additional features.
To address these challenges, MOR Software utilized C++ for performance-critical components and Python for flexibility in handling various camera protocols. QT was employed to create an intuitive user interface. The team implemented advanced algorithms for activity detection and developed secure data handling practices to protect sensitive information.
