On June 27, 2026, Codex Community Hackathon Hanoi 2026 successfully brought together more than 150 developers, AI builders, founders, and technology enthusiasts at Cen X Space, Hanoi for an intensive day of collaboration, innovation, and product development.

MOR Software was proud to co-organize the event alongside Codex Community Vietnam, creating a platform where builders could collaborate, exchange ideas, and transform concepts into working AI solutions. More than a hackathon, the event reflected a shared commitment to strengthening Vietnam's growing AI builder community and encouraging the practical adoption of AI in software development.

A Full-Day Journey of Building with AI

Codex Community Hackathon Hanoi 2026 received an overwhelming 271 applications, highlighting the growing momentum of Vietnam's AI ecosystem and the increasing enthusiasm for AI-native product development. To ensure every participant could benefit from close mentorship and a high-quality collaborative experience, the organizing committee carefully selected 150 builders to participate in this year's event.

The hackathon opened with keynote sessions that explored the evolving role of AI in software engineering before participants moved into networking and team formation activities. Builders from different backgrounds came together to form teams, exchange ideas, and begin transforming concepts into working products.

Teams then entered the core Build Sprint, dedicating the day to validating ideas, developing prototypes, and refining AI-powered applications with continuous guidance from experienced mentors. Throughout the event, participants exchanged technical knowledge, explored new approaches to product development, and leveraged AI to accelerate implementation and problem-solving.

The day concluded with live project demonstrations and final pitching sessions, where selected teams presented their solutions before a panel of judges comprising technology leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts.

Turning Ideas into Practical AI Solutions

One of the most remarkable aspects of the hackathon was the practicality of the ideas developed within just 24 hours. Rather than building AI simply to showcase the latest technology, participants focused on solving meaningful real-world problems.

The competition featured a diverse range of solutions spanning education, healthcare, developer productivity, business automation, and data intelligence. Several teams demonstrated how AI could simplify complex workflows, improve decision-making, and deliver more personalized user experiences.

Among the standout projects was an AI-powered platform that brought Vietnamese historical figures to life through interactive conversations, making history more engaging and accessible for younger generations. Another team developed a personalized learning platform that used AI to generate adaptive learning journeys tailored to each child's abilities, addressing one of today's growing educational challenges.

Building Vietnam's AI Builder Community

Beyond the competition itself, Codex Community Hackathon Hanoi 2026 reinforced the importance of community-driven innovation.

The event created opportunities for developers, founders, students, mentors, and technology professionals to exchange ideas, build meaningful connections, and learn from one another through hands-on collaboration.

As a co-organizer, MOR Software remains committed to supporting initiatives that foster innovation, strengthen Vietnam's technology ecosystem, and encourage the practical adoption of AI in software development.

Looking Ahead

Codex Community Hackathon Hanoi 2026 concluded with inspiring product demonstrations, valuable conversations, and new collaborations that will continue beyond the event itself.

MOR Software and Codex Community Vietnam extend their sincere appreciation to every participant, mentor, judge, speaker, partner, and volunteer who contributed to making this year's hackathon a success.

We look forward to continuing our mission of empowering builders and advancing AI innovation through future community initiatives.
