The Vietnam ICT Service Conference is an annual event organized by the Vietnam ICT Alliance, aimed at promoting technology cooperation. After the success in South Korea in June, the Vietnam ICT Alliance collaborated with MOR Software, Amela Technology, HB Lab, and Fabbi JSC to organize a conference in Hong Kong. This event also received great support from key partners: the Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation, Hong Kong Productivity Council, LYF Consulting, NextGen Solutions, Cyberbay, El Dorado Formula, Diamond Digital Agency, PR Newswire APAC, International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners - Hong Kong and Accel Hack. These contributions played a crucial role in creating a successful conference that fostered connections and collaboration between the Vietnamese and Hong Kong IT companies.

Bridging the ICT Talent Gap Between Vietnam and Hong Kong

The conference addressed the shortfall in Hong Kong's ICT talent pool and sought ways Vietnamese IT professionals could bridge the divide. With Hong Kong reportedly having a shortage of around 74% in the workforce within the ICT sector, while Vietnam is emerging as a talent hub in Asia with around 57,000 fresh IT graduates coming out every year, the event provided a platform to connect the two regions. It offered the opportunity to find collaboration opportunities that would help Vietnamese IT talent meet the growing demand for Hong Kong's market.
